10:30am Doors Open
11:00am-12:00pm Class 1: Dark Side Dips
If you've been looking for exciting new ways to end a dance or accent that unique moment in a song, come learn some dips! You'll learn techniques to safely and confidently add this type of movement to your dancing. This class will focus on how to request, give, and refuse weight sharing within your dancing to allow for greater options of expression while keeping you and your partner on your feet!

12:15pm-1:15pm Class 2: Jedi Jams
Learn to join in the jam!  This class will teach you how to smoothly enter and exit jam circles, whether you are entering by yourself, with a partner, or stealing in.  We will discuss how to create a welcoming and inclusive jam that encourages all dancers to participate, and how to explore the space when it's your turn in the center. Jump in and jam out with us!

1:15pm-2:30pm Lunch Break

2:30pm-3:30pm Class 3: May the Musicality Be With You
Join pianist and bandleader Gordon Webster as we explore musicality together! We will explore how they create the swinging tunes that we all love and how they tailor music to dancers. Bring your dancing shoes!

Cost: $48 preregistered. At-door registration price is $56 if space is available.  Individual class drop-ins $16 at the door for each Dark Side Dips and Jedi Jams, $24 for May the Musicality Be With You.
