for a dazzling evening of live swing and blues music with the
sensational Hanna PK, lighting up the stage with her smoky vocals,
electrifying piano, and irresistible groove.
Whether
you're a Lindy Hopper ready to cut a rug or a blues dancer craving
that slow-burn connection, Hanna's rich blend of vintage flair and
raw emotion is pure dance floor magic. Her music doesn't just play-
it moves you with deep blues cuts and infectious swing energy that
keeps feet flying and hearts full.

looking to learn, we've got a beginner lesson included in your
admission at 7pm.

with renowned traveling instuctors Gab and Zach, for all levels of
dancers!

11:00am - 12:00pm - Garbage Plate Blues
In this class you'll get a whole lot of moves in one glorious
pile! We will be serving you a break down of a bunch of solo blues
vocabulary and styling. The hot sauce is in the attitude and energy
you bring to it!
12:15pm - 1:15pm - Comfy Close Embrace
Close embrace is an essential connection in blues dance. We'll
explore this connection, how we make it comfy with each partner we
dance with, and give some cool insights into how close embrace can
elevate and elaborate skills you already know.
2:15pm - 3:15pm - Home is Where the Groove
Is
Finding and centring your groove is an essential part of all
dances. In this class we are dedicating time to finding the groove,
really feeling it, and getting settled right in the pocket of
it.
3:30pm - 4:30pm - It's Like Slow Blues… But
Faster
Not all blues is slow and melty! There are so many ways to play
within tempos and feels so let's crank it up a little with some
blues but....faster.
Gab and Zach
are two passionate, innovative dancers known for their musicality,
knowledge of style, and magnetic teaching energy. Whether you're
brand new to blues, coming to it from experience in another dance
style, or a seasoned dancer looking to refine your craft, this
workshop promises to deepen your understanding of the dance, enrich
your partner connection, and ignite your love for the blues.
Over the
course of this immersive workshop, Gab and Zach will guide you
through many elements and techniques that define blues
dancing.
