The GROOVE JUICE SPECIAL
Groove Juice Swing presents the Groove Juice Special—an introductory swing dance lesson and social—on the third Saturday of every month! The Groove Juice Special takes place at the Tango Cafe Dance Studio [map] at 389 Gregory St. in Rochester, NY.
This is a great opportunity to come out and meet the swing scene, get a lesson, and dance to some great music! We will be providing DJs for the Groove Juice Special, and from time to time we will be booking some of the fantastic local jazz bands for live music.

Guest DJ Carl Nelson!
Carl is a nationally-renowned social and competitive dancer specializing in Lindy Hop, Charleston, and other vintage jazz dances. Carl's quote from his blog:
"I [DJ for dancers] playing a wide variety of jazz, blues and soul tunes. Some of my favorite artists being: Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Jimmie Lunceford, Sidney Bechet and Artie Shaw."
We're very excited to have Carl back in Rochester, so come on out and dance to some great tunes!
Admission is $5. Free introductory lesson from 7pm to 8pm.
